The Horizon 525 Freestyler has turned a new chapter for the market which captures multiple features from different styles. This new design was the result of the boating public wanting more in one all-round product. A common discussion was one partner wanting an all-round fishing boat, Live Bait Tank, Minn Kota ready, Casting Deck, Kill tank (Side console) and the other wanting extra seating, lounge bed, shade options and lots of storage (Bowrider). Gold Coast Boating centre listened so we approached Horizon boats with the idea to build this concept and the Freestyler was born. The last year has seen several more changes to refine with upgrades to the seating including custom DLX trim in the bow area for the fussiest of buyers. These cushions can be removed when those water sport or lounging around days are not on the cards and it becomes purely a side console for the hard core fisho.
Other key ingredients in this mix is an underfloor fuel tank (safety first), large console to suit large screen GPS/Combo or dual screens. There is plenty of room for the VHF, Fusion sound system, extra switch panel, USB and more.......
The Powerplant of this package can start with a 1.8L Big Block F75LB Yamaha 4 stroke with the capacity to increase through the engine range right up to our packaged price boat with the F90LB or F115LB.
One word for the Yamaha brand that encapsulates it overall is "Reliability", we just don’t see these engines back with technical issues. Great on fuel, smooth on response, gutsy hole shot and very low noise levels. In fact, our regular repeat Yamaha customers already know why this is the only brand they rely on for coming home safely time and time again.
